The Expo attracted over 50,500 visits from 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities of China as well as 43 countries and regions around the world.
The number of overseas visitors increased by 2% over the year 2006 with 10% and 14 % coming from America and Europe respectively indicating the growing influence of the Expo in these markets.
In terms of the nature of industry, among professional visitors, 45% were regional dealers of household electrical appliances, 14% were from retail stores and 9% from comprehensive stores of household electrical appliances. With regard to their position, decision-makers and professional employees accounted for 48% and 29% respectively.
