Thailand, as part of its 15-Year Renewable Energy Development Plan 2008–2022, aims to increase the share of alternative energy to 20% of it’s final energy demand in 2022.

To ride on the potential opportunities in Thailand as well as the Asia-Pacific region, Clean Energy Expo Asia (CEEA) 2012 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 - 14 September. CEEA continues to be the premier Trade Fair and Conference in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together the leading players from the Technology, Services, Finance and Government sectors, in order to address key issues in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility solutions.
