Dr. Marcus F. Abboud is a specialist at the University of Bonn. He is involved in the teaching of graduate and undergraduate students in the Department of Prosthodontics (1997-2001), the Department of Preclinical Education and Dental Material Research (2001-2003) and the Department of Oral Surgery (since 2003). His clinical and research activities are focussed on implantology, bone remodelling, digital dentistry, digital radiology, CAD/CAM technology, all-ceramic restorations, galvanoforming and periodontics. He holds several patents and has published extensively in refereed journals since 1997.
Dr. Al-Nawas is a full-time Senior Surgeon at the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery at the J Gutenberg University of Mainz. He is doubly qualified – having qualified in dentistry as well as medicine. He is affiliated with the University of Mainz where he holds the position of Assistant Professor focussing mainly on implantology studies and research. He is also part of a team of specialists who manage compromised patients with risk factors as well as cleft reconstructions.

Dr. Sebastian Ciancio is the Distinguished Professor and Chairman in the Department of Periodontics and Endodontics and is the Director of the Center for Dental Studies at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, New York. In addition, he is Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University. Professor Ciancio has authored or co-authored well over 150 publications pertaining to periodontal disease. He is a member of several professional organisations
including Past President of the American Academy of Periodontology. In recognition of his contributions to dental science, he has received numerous honors and has conducted education courses throughout, the United States, Canada and Europe as well as Brazil, Chile, Japan and Argentina.

Dr. Shadi Daher, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine; he also runs the Implant Dentistry Centre in Boston. He has lectured throughout the world, his forte being the subject of implantology, and he has published extensively in this discipline.

Dr. Felton completed his DDS (1977) and MS (1984, Prosthodontics) degrees at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. He served as Director of Graduate Prosthodontics from 1989-1992, and as Chair of Prosthodontics from 1992- 2002. Dr. Felton is a past president of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Prosthodontics. He is a member of multiple dental organizations, including the ADA, the American and International Colleges of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Academy of Prosthodontics, ADEA, IADR/AADR, the FDI, and the International College of Dentists. He has over 40 published journal articles and 120 abstracts, and has presented at the national and international levels. His research interests include dental implants, ceramic crowns and fixed partial dentures, systemic oral health related to edentulism, and biological responses to restorative dental procedures.

From 1997 to 2006, Dr. Glauser was Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department for Fixed Prosthodontics and Dental Materials, University of Zürich. In 2006, he became director of the Zürich Dental Center and the Swiss Smile Campus. Dr. Glauser holds an appointment as clinical Associate Professor at the Medical College of Georgia. He has published more than 50 articles and textbook chapters on the subject of restorative dentistry and osseointegrated implants. His research activities mainly focus on tissue integration oforal implants and shortened clinical protocols.Dr. Glauser has received Academy Awards for his presentations from the Academy of Osseointegration AO and the Japan Academy of Gnathology and Occlusion.

He currently holds academic affiliations at the University of Washington, University of Valencia (Spain) and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. A member of several organizations, he is a member of the editorial board of Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry in the Implantology section, as well as the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He has authored numerous scientific publications in the fields of implant prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry, and has lectured nationally and internationally, maintaining a private practice limited to Prosthodontics & Implants in Mexico City.

His main specialties are: diagnosis and therapy of functional diseases of the stomatological system; temporo mandibular Joint disorders; and implant-supported prosthetic restorations. He has lectured internationally and is currently the consultant to the manufacturer for the development of the Protar-Articulator-System and testing of the Digma-System.
